Matthew has been working in the field of personal and organisation change for the thick end of 30 years. He is an experienced coach, change consultant and facilitator who has led a wide range of programs in the fields of leadership, D&I and change management. Here are some I&D highlights:

Spent nine years as a Senior Manager at KPMG in various internal consulting and change roles. His last role at KPMG was in the D&I Team where he was responsible for leading KPMG’s work on gender and flexible working. 

During that time KPMG won the BITC Opportunity Now awards for its flexible working program, achieved Opportunity Now gold standard for its work on gender equality, secured a premier listing in The Times Where Women Want To Work league tables as well as enjoying several features in the broadsheets.

In 2006/7 was part of the facilitation team for a pioneering diversity and inclusion workshop, ‘Daring to be Different,’ which was rolled out to Partners at KPMG.

From 2010-2013 was part of the international faculty that rolled out BP’s innovative D&I programmes to Group, Senior and First Level Leaders.

Part of a team that worked with Deloitte Consulting and CASS Business School to rigorously evaluate the commercial impact of the BP programme.

Part of the faculty delivering a next generation Inclusive Leadership program at Network Rail.

He has also written a flexible working toolkit for managers that helps them both assess flexible working requests and navigate the challenges of making it work for everyone involved.
